Welcome to the new Golf Travel Blog from travel expert Breanne Loucks - this month is all about the best 7 night golf holidays

For those of you who don't know me, my name's Breanne Loucks. I am the International Sales Manager at Golf Travel Group (GTG) and a former Ladies European Tour player.

I create golf holiday experiences to destinations worldwide and I also work with PGA Professionals organising their coaching trips abroad.

My main focus are destinations such as Mauritius, the Caribbean, UAE, Asia and the USA, however, I am lucky enough to have travelled all over the world with my career, so I have a lot of first-hand experience in Europe and the UK as well.

At Golf Travel Group we are keen to discover and explore new places and are always looking for the next hot golfing destination or resort.

Each month I will be sharing my latest golf travels, destination recommendations and some helpful golf travel hints and tips.

If you have any enquiries or have golf travel questions that you need answering, don't hesitate to contact me via email [email protected]

Last month at Golf Travel Group

In December I went with 15 of my colleagues on a hosted trip to the UAE - we visited both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Our trip started with a wonderful flight with Emirates on the A380, I haven't flown Emirates for nearly 10 years, and I must say I had forgotten really how good they are. The staff are wonderful, aircrafts are beautiful, we flew economy and there was so much space with fantastic entertainment systems, even offering live sport!

We arrived at Dubai International and transferred to Abu Dhabi first. We stayed at the beautiful Rotana Saadiyat Beach - 5 star Resort with stunning sea views, direct beach access and offers a fantastic all-inclusive package which is ideal for the Saadiyat location.

We played Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in the afternoon; the last few holes with the most INCREDIBLE sunset I have ever seen. We were lucky enough to enjoy the hotel facilities one afternoon with a couple of cocktails and an underwater swimming competition - always competitive.

To finish our experience in Abu Dhabi we played the newest course Yas Acres in the dark. It is a fantastic 9 hole floodlit course, absolutely immaculate, fantastic practice facilities and a lovely 19th hole terrace on stilts overlooking the pond at the back of the 18th green.

After two nights in Abu Dhabi we transferred over to Dubai, where we experienced an evening riding the sand dunes with dinner in the desert. We got to try out TopGolf Dubai which was incredible - so much fun! We then finished the trip playing Dubai Hills and Arabian Ranches both were in pristine condition and really topped a wonderful few days in the UAE.
