Welcome to the new Golf Travel Blog from travel expert Breanne Loucks
For those of you who don't know me, my name's Breanne Loucks. I am the International Sales Manager at Golf Travel Group (GTG) and a former Ladies European Tour player.
I create golf holiday experiences to destinations worldwide and I also work with PGA Professionals organising their coaching trips abroad.
My main focus are destinations such as Mauritius, the Caribbean, UAE, Asia and the USA, however, I am lucky enough to have travelled all over the world with my career, so I have a lot of first-hand experience in Europe and the UK as well.
At Golf Travel Group we are keen to discover and explore new places and are always looking for the next hot golfing destination or resort.

Last month at Golf Travel Group
November was a busy month with both travellers and bookings. One of the busiest destinations was Mauritius with a large number of travellers staying on the island (I even hear Women & Golf gave it a visit!) We had people staying at all the top golf resorts such as; Constance Belle Mare Plage, Heritage Le Telfair and Sunlife Resorts - Long Beach and Ambre.
November is also always a busy booking month, especially with our repeat groups returning from their October golf holiday and re-booking for next Autumn. Lots of bookings to Turkey, Greece and Cyprus.
Interestingly, there is one destination we are seeing an increase in bookings to, Morocco. We have always found Marrakech is the top region for golf holidays in Morocco, but Agadir and Casablanca are becoming more popular, especially with most hotels located on the beach.

What is hot right now?
Belek, Turkey always has been and always will be such a popular destination for golf holidays. Turkey offers 5 star luxury hotels, with fantastic all-inclusive concepts. Most properties in Belek have beach access, and most golf courses are no more than 15 minutes road transfer.
We work with fabulous partners, they greet you upon arrival, carry out airport and golf transfers, and look after you while in the resort.
I am lucky enough to have visited Belek many times before, and I have played most of the golf courses. You really are spoilt for choice, but a firm favourite for me is the beautiful Kempinski The Dome, playing golf on the Antalya Courses; Pasha and PGA Sultan. The hotel is much smaller than others, giving a boutique feel, the food and beverage is fantastic and the golf courses are top class.
Top Tip - Add on a round at Carya or Montgomerie to add value to your golf holiday.

Tips for booking a golf trip in 2024
EasyJet have just released winter schedules for 2024, so now is the ideal time to book, especially popular destinations such as Turkey, Algarve and Costa Del Sol. Book now while there is still good hotel and tee-time availability, and flight fares are reasonable.
