It's just over two weeks to go until a new teaching masterclass takes place at Trump Turnberry and Women & Golf will be there!

Trump Turnberry and leading PGA Professional and broadcaster Andrew Murray – a former winner on the DP World Tour – have joined forces to set up a women's only three-day instruction clinic at the resort’s state-of-the-art teaching academy.

The clinic will include rounds on all three courses at Turnberry – the championship Ailsa, King Robert the Bruce and nine-hole Arran. Expert tuition on all aspects of the game will be on hand from Murray and Turnberry’s team of onsite teaching professionals, with interactive Q&A sessions and a strong emphasis on maintaining and improving golf fitness by Natalie Lowe from Pro-Fit Golf Conditioning.

‘The Turnberry Masters Women’s Pairs – with hosts Andrew Murray and Natalie Lowe' clinic will run between Monday April 8 to Wednesday April 10, with a key focus on helping to support and develop women’s golf.

Andrew Murray said: “There really are few venues in the world that can rival Turnberry, not only for the golfing test of the Ailsa and the neighbouring King Robert the Bruce course, but also the off-course facilities for visitors to enjoy. Turnberry’s golf academy is packed with state-of-the-art teaching technology, with expert PGA professionals who can help take your game to the next level. The academy also boasts one of the finest short-game teaching areas you will find. We are excited to welcome guests for what will be a special few days on Scotland’s west coast.”

Women & Golf competition winners

Thank you to everyone who entered the competition to win a place on 'The Turnberry Masters Women's Pairs'. We're delighted to announce that W&G reader Kathie Mabberley won the prize and will be heading up to South Ayrshire with her friend Gill McMillan.

Women & Golf have also been given the opportunity to experience The Turnberry Masters Women's Pairs event, so Jane Lees, our head of Sales and Marketing, will be joining Kathie, Gill and the rest of the group and will be sharing her experience with all our readers.

Nic Oldham, Sales and Marketing Director, Trump Turnberry, said:

“We are hugely excited for the running of our ‘Turnberry Masters Women’s Pairs – with hosts Andrew Murray and Natalie Lowe’. The event will showcase the very best of our teaching academy, highlighting the specific skills needed to play links golf from PGA Pro Andrew Murray, with tips and advice on fitness essentials from Natalie Lowe, from Pro-Fit Golf Conditioning.

“Not only will our guests enjoy the game-improvement sessions that come from our expert teaching at the academy, but they will also get to play the magnificent Ailsa course – a four-time host of the Open Championship – along with the esteemed King Robert the Bruce course.
