To coincide with the 2015 Open at St Andrews, a new children's book 'Little Tommy Morris' is being launched. The book is written by acclaimed St Andrews golf historian Roger McStravick and beautifully illustrated by St Andrews artist Maria Randall.

The 36-page picture book tells the story of the first young golf prodigy, Young Tom Morris, and his meteoric rise to fame.

A crowd-funding campaign is being run to gift this book, along with a curriculum pack, to as many schools around the world as possible, as the story of Little Tommy Morris has the power to inspire a new generation of golf enthusiasts.

There are some great rewards for support including first editions and even golfing trips to St Andrews. You can find the campaign here:

The book is due for release by Cartographie Press in May 2015, and a full launch of the schools pack will happen during the 2015 Open at St Andrews.

Several options for sponsorship are available and welcomed, including printing sponsor information on the books and school packs themselves. Translation into other languages can also be arranged.
