Read the green by finding the highest point:
Walk around the hole and identify where the green sits highest — this tells you the direction the ball will break and whether you’re putting uphill or downhill.
Use a line on your ball to aim and align:
Draw or use an existing line on your golf ball to point it directly at your target, then match your putter face to that line at address to set the club head square from the start.
Swing through the line, not across it:
Rock your shoulders back and through along the ball’s line, keeping your arms quiet — if your path goes off-line, the marked ball makes it immediately visible, making this an effective on-course drill too.
