The Beachcroft Hotel & Beach Hut Suites are situated in the beautiful South Downs of West Sussex, occupying a prime position on Felpham sea front. The Hotel & Beach Hut Suites are set on a classic British pebble beach with instant access to a 7-mile coastal footpath - perfect for dog walking and cycling.
Guests are offered every comfort across a choice of 37 Bedrooms and 4 Luxury Beach Hut Suites. The accommodation caters for families, couples, friends, single travellers, those on business and most importantly, golfers.
The Hotel offers classic King/ Twin rooms with sea or garden views. If you want to indulge and relax with extra space and comfort why not try the luxury Penthouse Suite. A 3-bedroomed rooftop apartment has a large private balcony and stunning panoramic sea views. Plus, there's a swimming pool in the hotel for a post-game swim.
Just across the car park there are four beautifully appointed luxury Beach Hut Suites that offer a little more privacy and private sea-facing terrace.
The Beachcroft Accommodation
We stayed in one of the luxury Beach Hut Suites. It has a stylish lounge area, its own terrace overlooking the pebble beach, and a mezzanine master bedroom (and for those who want to bring the kids there is a small bunk bed room at the back of the suite).
The stylish open plan living space incorporate a corner sofa and Netflix-enabled smart TV. Home from home touches with Nespresso coffee machine and pods, a Smeg fridge & kettle with selection of teas & Decanter of Sloe Gin along with some soft drinks and snacks. A mezzanine master bedroom with a perfectly positioned porthole window where you can view the horizon from the comfort of your bed is dressed in Egyptian cotton linen. And the luxury shower room with rain shower, sumptuous bathrobes and towels & toiletries is on the lower level.
Each Beach Hut has its own car parking bay with electric car charging point, and the use of two adult bikes are complimentary.
Food
As a Beach Hut Suite guest, you are welcome to dine and drink in the Hotel restaurants and bars.
Tamarisk Restaurant is a spacious, light and airy setting, offering a selection of traditional English dishes freshly prepared with a modern twist and technical perfection.
Monty’s Bar & Bistro offers a delicious selection of light bites and home cooked classics, serving local ales, a hand picked selection of wines and all your favourite classic cocktails.
If you are looking for something a little al fresco then head to Blakes Bar & Beach Terrace. It serves a selection of freshly made sandwiches, light lunches, classic dishes & traditional English afternoon tea.
We ate dinner and breakfast in the Tamarisk and food was fresh and tasty. Beware the substantial portion sizes! Check out the menus here.

DOGS WELCOME! The Beachcroft is truly dog friendly. Two of the luxury Beach Hut Suites and two ground floor bedrooms with a private terrace are available. The welcome pack includes their own dog bed, bowls, treats and a little gift to play with on the beach.
Golf
From the Beach Hut Suites, it is short 20-minute drive to Chichester Golf Club.
Chichester Golf Club offers the finest, friendliest, golf and practice facility in the South of England. Located two miles south of Chichester and close to the A27, Portsmouth and the A3. It boasts two 18-hole championship courses, designed by Philip Saunders and a 9-hole short course. Also available is the fantastic 18-hole Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf course, an especially designed FootGolf course, and a 16-bay driving range with Power Tee’s.
The 18-hole Tower and Cathedral courses offer a wide variety of holes, elevation change, mature trees, streams and picturesque ponds.
It is home to the "The Mother of golf holes", the challenging 5th hole. Played into a prevailing wind with water down both sides the fairway gets narrower as you nearer the green.
The Cathedral Course has one of the toughest front nines around. to the challenge. It is an attractive parkland course with plenty of water and is a good challenge for any golfer.
The verdict
The Beachfront Hotel and Beach Hut Suites are in a fabulous location by the sea. Ideal for that relaxing after-golf location. The Beach Hut Suites were ideal for couples but the Hotel would be better for groups. Food was fresh and substantial. The picnic hampers and breakfast baskets a lovely touch if you wanted to stay in your room or takeaway. Service was friendly and efficient. Nothing too much trouble.
