Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort is set to host two competitions this year - The Classic Amateur 19-21 September followed by the French Riviera Masters 3-5 October.

With two tree-lined and undulating 18-hole championship golf courses ‘Le Château’ and ‘Le Riou’, designed by Dave Thomas, Terre Blanche has been recognised as a European Tour Destination and one of The Leading Hotels of the World.

Terre Blanche Classic Amateur

The Terre Blanche Classic Amateur is open to both guests and club members. The programme includes a two-night hotel and golf package beginning on Friday 19 September with a training day on one of Terre Blanche’s two Championship courses and access to the Albatros Golf Performance Centre with free practice balls. This is followed by an evening enjoying the hotel’s various facilities; indulging in one of the four world-class restaurants or relaxing in the hotel’s spa. Good preparation for the second and third days, which consist of a round of golf on both ‘Le Château’ and ‘Le Riou’ courses.

On Saturday 20 September, Terre Blanche will host a Gala Dinner, giving guests of the Classic Amateur programme and club members a chance to dine in one of the hotel’s four Mediterranean restaurants and discuss their golf experiences. And on Sunday 21 September, Terre Blanche will bring the three days to a close with a prize giving and cocktail party, which will award players with the best results over the two days.

French Riviera Masters 2014

The French Riviera Masters 2014 is one of the highlights of the European Senior Tour. Created by Frédéric Dubois from Santé & Loisirs Golf Events and organised by SWING in collaboration with French professional Marc Farry

This 5th edition will gather some of the game’s former greats including:

-          Two former winning Ryder Cup Captains, Welshman Ian Woosnam (winner of the 1991 Masters and 28 European Tour events) and Scot Sam Torrance (43 victories as a professional).

-          Paul Wesselingh and Steen Tinning, number one and two of the 2013 European Senior Tour Order of Merit. Former Ryder Cup players Costantino Rocca, Mark James and Irishman Des Smyth.

-          Previous winners of the tournament - Frenchman Marc Farry (2010), Spaniard Juan Quiros (2011), Englishman David J Russell (2012) and Australian Peter Fowler (2013).

October 3rd:      1st round French Riviera Masters - 1st round l’Inter-Cliniques Pro-Am Sodexo

October 4th:      2nd round French Riviera Masters - 2nd round Inter-Cliniques Pro-Am Sodexo - Gala evening

October 5th:      Final round of the French Riviera Masters - Award ceremony
