At just 12 years old, Ava Gadsby is already making waves in the world of golf, kicking off the 2024 season with five consecutive wins.

Starting her journey into golf at age 8, Ava's passion and talent for the sport have propelled her to remarkable achievements.

One of Ava's most notable wins came last year at The Grove Junior Open Championship – a mixed event for boys and girls aged under 18. She concluded an epic round with a score of 69, showcasing her exceptional skill and composure on the course.

The niece of two-time European Tour winner, Lee Slattery, Ava's talent hasn't gone unnoticed, as she has recently been called up to join the Hertfordshire County first team squad, and she has continued to dominate the US Kids London tour since the start of 2024.

Securing back-to-back wins at prestigious courses including North Middlesex, Manor of Groves, Hanbury Manor, and Chesfield Downs, Ava's quadruple win streak earned her the US Kids London Winter League Championship title. Her remarkable performance, including shooting a six-over-par 78 at the gross score event, marks an exceptional start to the spring season.

Ava's success extends beyond local competitions, as she clinched the under-16 Hertfordshire Golf Championship last year and claimed victory in 11 Golf Junior Opens in 2023 alone. Now set to compete in over 40 Junior Opens in 2024, Ava will be hoping to get even more wins under her belt this year.

In a thrilling continuation of her winning streak, Ava emerged victorious again this month at The US Kids London Championships held at The Hertsmere Golf Course. This remarkable feat marked her fifth consecutive win, further cementing her reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the junior golfing circuit.
