Taking place in July, the Q-Tour HimmerLand Championship Presented by Sand Spedition has been added to the LETAS 2025 calendar.

The event will be staged at the HimmerLand Resort, which previously hosted the DP World Tour for eight years and will see a field of 132 players teeing it up across 54 holes between 31 July – 2 August.

Located approximately 20 kilometres to the west of Alborg, HimmerLand is North Europe’s largest golf resort comprising of 45 holes and extensive practice facilities.

The addition of the Q-Tour HimmerLand Championship to the 2025 LETAS schedule means there are now 18 events across the season. That puts the total prize fund for 2025 at €842,500 – over €100,000 more than last year.

Daniel Kristensen, promoter of the Q Tour HimmerLand Championship said: “We are so proud and happy to welcome all the LETAS players to HimmerLand, a world class resort and course.

“The DP World Tour has played here and now it’s the women’s turn.”

Claus Mølholm, Head of National Teams at the Danish Golf Union said: “We are delighted that LETAS will continue to have a tournament in Denmark. It’s important for the development of our players and a great opportunity to secure valuable points towards the Order of Merit rankings on home soil.”

Ana Larraneta, LETAS Tour Director, added: “We are excited to announce this addition to the schedule and return to Denmark this year. There is real talent in Danish women’s golf, and we are thrilled to work with Daniel who supports our vision of giving female professionals more opportunities to play competitively, so we can work towards change, drive equality and provide a pathway to the LET.”

The 2025 LETAS season kicked off two weeks ago in France with the Terre Blanche Ladies Open, where Danish talent shone through with Amalie Leth-Nissen clinching her first professional victory.

Next stop for LETAS is Morocco, with the Madaef Golf Ladies Open by Saidia Resorts, and this event marks the first time LETAS has played outside Europe.
