Players from the UK and Europe can experience some of Lisbon's finest venues when they take part in the 2016 ORIZONTE Lisbon Golf Trophy.
Featuring great-value golf courses in an outstanding setting, Lisbon is a golfers’ dream and players from the UK and Europe can experience some of the Portuguese capital’s finest venues when they take part in the 2016 ORIZONTE Lisbon Golf Trophy.
Following the international success of the inaugural event this year, the tournament will be staged for the second time in the Costa Azul region, south of Lisbon, from February 22-27, 2016, with five-night packages including four rounds of golf available for €559 per person (£435 approx).
Prices include bed-and-breakfast accommodation at the four-star Sana Sesimbra Hotel, with tournament rounds played at Quinta do Peru Golf & Country Club, Aroeira I and II and Ribagolfe II, with the star prize of a week’s holiday for two people to Lisbon on offer to the overall winner.
Competition for men and women will take place across two handicap categories with plenty of prizes on offer in category one (handicaps to 18.4) and two (handicaps to 36), plus daily awards for the longest drive and nearest the pin.
A welcome drink, lunch with wine-cellar visit and tasting and a prize-giving lunch are also included while, with all transfers included, golfers can relax and save additional costs on car hire.
