Ladies Love Golf has made an exciting partnership with Growing Golf to help launch three new LLG Academies this May

Ladies Love Golf (LLG) is a community of women of all ages and abilities looking to improve, socialise and play golf. LLG's goal is to remove the barriers for all women looking to get into golf and get everyone involved. There is also an online community that you can join for free if you are not based near one of the hubs, as well as membership packages to suit your lifestyle.

LLG currently operates in five golf centres:

  1. The Beeches Golf, Cheshire.
  2. Branston Golf Range, Staffordshire.
  3. Chilli Dip Golf, Lancashire.
  4. 3 Hammers Golf Complex, Staffordshire.
  5. Plymouth Golf Centre, Devon.

With the fifth in Devon coming on board at the end of October 2023. Fast forward six months and LLG is delighted to announce a further three facilities coming on board in May throughout Kent following an exciting partnership with Growing Golf.

Mark Trow, Head Coaching Professional and a Director of Growing Golf, said:

“Growing Golf was founded by a small group of golf professionals and enthusiasts who simply love the idea of growing the sport in every way possible. We passionately believe in the physical, social and psychological benefits that golf provides for everyone who plays it.

"Starting with one golf club in 2017, we now deliver a comprehensive coaching programme across six venues in Kent. Our programme includes over 20 adult groups and 40 junior groups per week, as well as 10 after school clubs in the local area.

"We currently work with 16 coaching professionals who offer a wide range of services at Kings Hill Golf Club, Hilden Park Golf Centre, Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club, Nizels Golf Club, Poult Wood Golf Club and Tenterden Golf Club.

"As we are constantly trying to grow the game across our venues, we are happy to announce a brand new partnership with Ladies Love Golf. This initiative has a successful track record of increasing female participation across the country.

"We are looking forward to working with LLG Director John Cheetham, along with his team at LLG, to deliver this programme and grow the game for as many female players across the South East of England as possible."

Playing an essential role in the growth of Ladies Love Golf (LLG) are the Ambassadors. At each LLG centre there are two or three Ambassadors who are the friendly point of contact for all women attending the sessions. They are able to welcome those attending, when the coach may be busy, and also introduce new women to those already in the group. Women & Golf spoke to Jo Egerton about the important role she plays in the growth of this women's golf community - read the full interview.
