It may not be a Solheim Cup year, but that didn't stop the ladies from Tenby from celebrating their own version of the event on Saturday 10th September.
The club's annual challenge match see's two teams from the club compete as Europe and USA for their coveted Saltheim Cup. Four ball better ball was the order of the day, and whilst the teams were forced to grapple with Tenby's notoriously tricky rough, they were treated to sunshine throughout the day.
Ideal weather to enjoy the jug of pimms served on the 12th!
The Captains waited in the sunshine on the Patio for their team members to emerge over the brow on the 18th. Results were noted, whilst teams relaxed with much needed drinks. A meal, then for the results... a win for Europe.
