Plan the hole before you play it:
Take a few seconds on the tee to study the course map, use a rangefinder to check the flag position, and identify dangers so you can pick your target and club with confidence.
Rotate properly to improve your strike:
Focus on brushing the club straight back as your back points to the target and your trail hip works behind you, then think “ball then ground” to achieve clean, downward contact.
Play your own game:
Stop comparing your club selection or distances to those around you — knowing your own strengths and sticking to what works for you is one of the most effective ways to lower your scores.
