Get your setup right first:
Ball position just left of centre, sternum over the ball, and hands pressed slightly forward will put you in the best possible position before the swing even starts.
Rotate, don’t sway:
Using an alignment stick across your shoulders to feel your body rotate while keeping your sternum centred is Georgia’s go-to drill for building a consistent, powerful backswing.
Shift your weight on the way down:
Starting the downswing by driving your hips towards the target — rather than sliding or falling back — is what creates a downward strike and ball-then-turf contact.
