The Speed Frame Face creates fast ball speeds all across the face for longer, more consistent distance, and this technology also helps to increase the centre of gravity for greater forgiveness and more accurate shots. The modern Warbird sole is relieved in the heel and toe for enhanced versatility from a variety of lies.
W&G says: "This hybrid lives up to its name – it’s Hot! Lightweight and fairly whippy, it’s a confident booster from any lie. Not too fussy-looking with a slate grey clubhead, it sits nicely behind the ball and feels solid through impact. One negative comment is the sound of the ball coming off the clubface which is a bit of a clang, although something you could get used to if you are pleased with the results!"
