Find your rhythm first
Before worrying about position, spend 30 seconds making continuous momentum swings — letting the club swing freely back and forth to build a natural, repeatable rhythm.
Let your trail hand guide your swing shape
Hold the club open-handed from the club head end and keep your trail hand in the same position throughout the swing — on top, side, or bottom — to naturally develop the swing plane that suits your grip.
Train your divot after the ball
Place two golf balls as a gate to mark the target position, then practise bumping the ground just beyond them to build the habit of striking down and through for solid iron contact.
