Tee height matters more than you think
Half the golf ball should sit above the crown of the driver for a standard shot — too high risks skying the ball, while teeing it lower can improve accuracy into the wind.
Ball position should be inside your lead heel
Placing the ball too far back can leave the face open and encourage a steep angle of attack, so use the lead heel as your reference point and adjust from there.
Add spine tilt to encourage an upward strike
Sliding your trail hand down your thigh as you grip the club naturally tilts your hips and shoulders, allowing the club to sweep up through the ball rather than hitting down on it.
