Callaway’s new mini driver arrives on a proper women’s-specific setup and brings face technology that hasn’t appeared in the category before. Here’s what you need to know. The Quantum Mini is Callaway’s second mini driver, built on the same platform as their flagship Quantum range rather than the Elyte line. It’s positioned as a fairway-finder and 3-wood alternative, designed to be used off the tee and off the deck. The 13.5° option comes with a dedicated women’s configuration — a shorter 42.75″ shaft, a 40g ladies flex shaft from Mitsubishi Chemical, and a women’s grip — which is properly thought through rather than a token gesture.
What’s New
The headline is the Tri-Force Face — a construction that layers titanium, Poly Mesh, and carbon fibre into a single face system, tuned by AI to optimise speed, spin, and launch across the whole face. Callaway say this combination has never been used in a mini driver before. The aim is better ball speed on off-centre strikes, which matters most when you’re reaching for this club under pressure on a tight driving hole.
The Step Sole — a sole design already used in Callaway’s full driver range — appears in a mini driver for the first time here. It reduces sole-to-turf contact for cleaner interaction off the deck, and is said to help the head sit more naturally at address.

Early Verdict
On paper this looks well suited to women golfers who want a forgiving, high-launching option that works from the tee and the fairway. The 340cc head is one of the larger in the category, so expect maximum forgiveness. The women’s 13.5° configuration is where most golfers should start. Full test to follow.
