New 18-hole layout at Hilton Dalaman aims to transform the region into a year-round golf destination
A quiet stretch of Turkey’s southwest coastline is set to welcome golfers for the first time, with plans underway for the region’s first championship course. Opening in June 2026, the 18-hole layout at Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Spa will mark a new chapter for Dalaman, a destination better known for sun-seeking than fairways.
Developed by the International Design Group, the par-72 course is set on natural sandy soil and designed with sustainability in mind. The course is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the south and a river to the west, promising coastal views and a landscape integrated with nature.
Just 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport, the site offers easy access for international visitors.
Course Features and Facilities
Stretching 6,152 metres (6,728 yards) from the back tees, the course has been planned with a mix of strategy and scenery in mind. Supporting facilities will include a driving range, putting green, short game area, clubhouse, on-site restaurant and halfway house.

In keeping with the resort’s emphasis on sustainability, the course has been designed to make use of the existing terrain and vegetation. It’s being built to international standards with the long-term ambition of hosting professional tournaments.
The Appeal of Dalaman
The Dalaman region, one of the most unspoiled in southwestern Turkey, has long been appreciated for its long beaches, wetland habitats and year-round mild climate.
The Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Spa, opened in 2009, already caters to guests with a mix of luxury accommodation, wellness offerings and outdoor activities. The all-inclusive resort sits at the meeting point of the Mediterranean and Aegean seas and features ten swimming pools, two waterparks, a private beach, and a large wellness spa. Dining options span local and international cuisines across several restaurants and bars.
