A team from Nizels Golf & Country Club will join three other clubs from England at the 2021 Annodata UK Golf Club Classic final
A team of ladies from Nizels Golf and Country Club have reached the finals of the 2021 Annodata UK Golf Club Classic to be held in Jerez, near Cadiz in Spain.
The competition is open to mens and ladies teams from across the UK. The Nizels ladies team was one of c.400 ladies golf teams that took part in the competition which commenced in April 2021. The team consisting of five players will now be playing in the finals organised by Matchplay Golf on March 8-10.
This is a prestigious event is held across England, Scotland and Wales. Nizels captains, Juli Fayers and Denise Carr, are extremely proud of the squad’s achievement to date. Juli commented:
“Our ladies are a highly competitive bunch, who will do their very best to come back to Kent victorious!”
The Tonbridge and Sevenoaks based ladies team playing in Spain will be:
Nikki Jones, Carol Turl, Adele Young, Pat Morecroft, Gina Phillips and Janette Withey. From a squad of ten including Sue Crimes, Sarah Chuter, Nikki Bell and Amanda Rose who have all helped Nizels reach the finals.
Women & Golf wish the best of luck to all the teams competing, joining Nizels in the final are teams from Leigh Golf Club, East Devon Golf Club and Charnwood Forest Golf Club.

About the Annodata Golf Classic
The Annodata Golf Classic is called the Club team event of the year by its organisers as they believe it is the only National Golf Club Team event that is still running in the UK. It is also the toughest and most prestigious competition to win in the UK. Winners of the national knockout event will be crowned the UK Golf Club Champions.
