Welcome to our first Women & Golf Q&A Series. We were delighted to welcome PGA Advanced Professional and accredited Golf Psychology coach Nicola Stroud based at Burnham and Berrow Golf Club to speak to us.
The Women & Golf Q&A Series is hosted by Women & Golf Editor Emma Ballard.
Throughout this in-depth Q&A we hear how Nicola got into golf and how through her own experiences she decided to focus on the mental side of the game. Calling herself a holistic coach, Nicola will always incorporate mental game play into her lessons, as well as looking at the technique.
In advance of the Q&A we asked Women & Golf members to send in their questions for Nicola to answer. Questions ranged from how to get over embarrassment as a new golfer, to the fear of losing in match play, from putting good performance in practice into play to getting over a bad hole.
The conversation was extremely informative and Nicola gives many tips and tactics to get all of us better prepared for the challenge ahead on the golf course.
