Open the club face before you grip it
Lay the club head flat so it points skyward, then take your grip — this stops your wrists from rolling the face closed during the swing.
Ball position forward, weight forward
Play the ball just left of centre in a wide, low stance with weight favouring your lead side, so the club can glide underneath the sand rather than digging in.
Match your swing length back and through
Decelerating is the most common reason golfers stay stuck in the sand — commit to a balanced, equal-length swing to ensure the ball gets out every time.
