We partnered with Ladies Love Golf earlier this year because we both share a passion for growing the ladies game and helping women get the most out of golf, so we thought it made sense to join our two communities together.

Hopefully you have been enjoying the Beginner golf series from Ladies Love Golf Director and PGA Professional John Cheetham.

John covers the basics such as grip, stance and body position, with all videos being able to be practiced at home. They may also be helpful for more experienced golfers who want a refresh on the foundations of golf, and to make sure they're getting the basics right.

These videos are free and available to watch any time in the Instruction section of our website under beginners.

Here are some of our favourites:

'How do you grip a golf club?' - one of the first things you want to know when you take up golf. This quick video shows you how to do it properly.

In the next video, John talks us through some key check points to think about whenever you set up to take a shot, including where the ball should be between your feet and how far away from the ball we should be standing.

Posture is extremely important when taking a golf shot - this easy drill will help you get better rotation in the swing.

Alignment in golf is an area that even experienced players can struggle with - this video shows you how to hit it straight every time.

The backswing involves a lot of different elements and things to think about - this video will help you master it.
