Most swing faults stem from something that has gone astray in your set-up and as Ryan Fenwick explains, more often than not this can be down to problems with your golf grip.

FIRST THINGS FIRST
Never underestimate the importance of your grip, stance and posture.
GRIP: The hands are the only part of your body that come into contact with the golf club and they control how the golf club is swung. Therefore, it is vital that your hands are placed on the golf club correctly.
REMEMBER: A weak grip can be the cause of several swing faults.
You should place the handle of the golf club in your fingers rather than the palm of your hand.
As a rule, you should see two knuckles.
If no knuckles are showing then the left hand is too weak.
