A long-sleeve top built as a genuine base layer rather than a standalone piece, though it works either way. Raven Knitted Vest — £40

The sleeveless companion to the Raven Polo, in the same TENCEL fabric and with the same tonal embroidery detail at the chest and back neck. It’s designed for layering — over a long-sleeve top in colder conditions, or on its own in milder weather — and the sleeveless cut keeps arm movement completely unrestricted. At £40 it’s a reasonably priced way to add a layering piece without committing to a full knit.

Jayne Crossover Trouser — £90

The most technical piece of the four. Bonded thermal fabric and a wind-resistant build are aimed squarely at cold-weather rounds, with four-way stretch to stop the fabric restricting movement through the swing. The waistband uses adjustable button tabs at each side for a more precise fit, and there’s a hidden zip pocket plus a clean back pocket for essentials without adding bulk. The cut is straight-leg and smart enough to wear beyond the course.
