Golfers looking to treat themselves to a new electric trolley this Christmas are being given a £50 Cashback incentive by electric trolley brand Motocaddy.

Golfers looking to treat themselves to a new electric trolley this Christmas are being given a £50 Cashback incentive by market-leading brand Motocaddy.

Any golfer opting to match a Lithium battery with one of its latest trolleys – including the widely-acclaimed S7 REMOTE model – can claim £50 in cashback directly from Motocaddy in its biggest ever sales promotion. The incentive is seen as the first of its kind from a manufacturer in the UK golf industry and runs through to Friday 24th December 2015.

“Given the increasing trend towards Lithium powered models, we expect this offer will prove to be very popular with golfers about to invest in a new trolley,” said Sales Director Neil Parker. “Motocaddy has led a concerted drive towards the lighter, more reliable and cost-effective Lithium batteries and we see them taking over completely from the more traditional Lead-acid versions within the next two years.”

More than 60% of Motocaddy trolleys sold this year have been equipped with Lithium batteries, almost double the number this time last year. A new S1 trolley – which is the top-selling electric trolley across the world – fitted with an 18-hole Lithium battery has a RRP of £449.99, while the 36-hole model retails at £499.99.

With a lifespan five-times longer than its Lead-acid equivalent, a Lithium battery is super lightweight, more compact and comes with a 5-year limited warranty. Both 18 and 36-hole Lithium capacities can be recharged from empty in less than five hours.
