Anna Huang holed a dramatic eagle on the last to deny home favourite Charley Hull and claim her fourth Ladies European Tour title at the PIF London Championship.
Anna Huang sealed her fourth Ladies European Tour title within 11 months with a two-stroke victory at the PIF London Championship at Centurion Club, finishing on 22 under par.
The 17-year-old Canadian, who led from the first round, becomes the youngest player in LET history to win four titles, beating the previous record held by Lydia Ko, who was 18 years, four months and 20 days old at her fourth win. Huang reached the mark aged 17 years, nine months and 10 days.
Her first title came at the 2025 La Sella Open, followed swiftly by the 2025 Lacoste Ladies Open de France. A third victory arrived at the Lalla Meryem Cup in May before Sunday’s win at Centurion Club.
“A year ago, I was at a really low point in my life and golf wasn’t really fun for me. I was dealing with all these thoughts, but with the help of my family and all my support I was able to get myself back together and push through that part,” Huang said. “I’ve always looked up to Lydia [Ko], she’s always been my idol growing up. There’s so much to admire about her game. She’s so calm and composed. Jeeno [Thitikul] is the biggest rising star of our generation and being part of that small group is special.”
Huang moves up to second in the LET Order of Merit on the back of the win — four titles and counting before her 18th birthday.
Hull threatens to spoil the party
England’s Charley Hull gave the Centurion Club galleries plenty to shout about. Two days earlier she had set a course record with a 62, and she carried that form into the final round, cutting Huang’s overnight three-shot lead down to size.

A bunker shot at the sixth set up Hull’s first birdie of the day, and after Huang moved four clear at the eighth, Hull rolled in a birdie at the par-5 ninth to halve the gap. A tap-in birdie at the 13th, followed by further birdies at the 15th and 16th — the second from a lengthy putt — took Hull into the lead by one, and she looked set for her second PIF Global Series title of the year, having won the PIF Saudi Ladies International in February.
The 17th hole undid her challenge. Hull four-putted for a costly double bogey, handing the lead back to Huang, who did not relinquish it again. Hull closed with a birdie at the last for a final round of 69 (four under) and a share of second on 20 under, six birdies and a double bogey on her card.
Tan fires the round of the week
Singapore’s Shannon Tan produced the best round of the final day, a nine-under 64 that carried her into outright third place on 17 under par.
“I hit some great shots today, but I also hit some not so great shots — I wouldn’t say it was a completely perfect round,” Tan said. “I’m quite happy with how I took advantage on the par-5s today with two eagles, and that definitely helped with my score. I didn’t really get off to a great start in the year — ball striking wasn’t that good to start, but I kept working on it. This summer has been rather decent, so I’m happy with how the game is trending. Still a lot to work on for putting.”
How Huang closed it out
Huang made the turn in front but a dropped shot at the ninth kept Hull in touch. A birdie at the 15th restored some breathing room before Huang found the water at 16 and had to hole a clutch bogey putt to stay in the fight as Hull’s birdie there put the Englishwoman ahead for the first time.
Hull’s double bogey at 17 swung the destination of the title back in Huang’s favour, and the teenager — who had eagled the 18th in each of her first three rounds — did it again on the last to seal the win.
“That was probably the most thrilling round of golf of my life, that was crazy. I have no words, I’m just so shocked,” Huang said. “I knew coming down three tough holes was not easy and I tried to focus on each shot because anything can happen in golf and I stayed in my own lane.
“I can’t believe I made another eagle. I focused on the putt and made a good stroke, and it went in. Charley is such a phenomenal player and playing with her in the past two days in the final group has been really cool.”
