Junior equipment brand UpSwing has expanded its Grow Like A Pro system with a girls-specific range, featuring clubs built to suit female junior players from the ground up.
UpSwing Golf has introduced the Galaxy Girls Golf Sets, bringing its adjustable junior club system to young female players for the first time. The range is a companion to the brand’s existing boys’ sets, designed with girls specifically in mind rather than adapted from an existing product.
The key design difference is shaft length. Galaxy shafts run 0.5 inches shorter than the boys’ equivalent, with kick points tuned accordingly to maintain launch and feel. The clubs use lightweight UST Mamiya graphite shafts and feature perimeter weighting and an optimised centre of gravity, with a PVD finish on the clubheads.
Clubs that grow with the player
The sets are built on UpSwing’s UpTech™ platform, which allows shafts to be lengthened as a junior golfer develops rather than replacing the full set. The Hosel Adaptor and Global Mass Property System — both patented — adjust the clubhead’s centre of gravity from the heel towards the sweet spot as clubs are extended, maintaining feel and consistency through growth spurts.

The Galaxy range is available in three configurations:
- 4-Club Galaxy Junior Set — RRP £449
- 7-Club Galaxy Junior Varsity Set — RRP £649
- 11-Club Galaxy Varsity Set — RRP £899
Upgrade shaft kits are available separately, allowing parents to size up without buying new clubheads.
