New driver, fairway wood, and hybrid range offers women golfers forgiveness, distance, and versatility
Ben Hogan Golf has launched the new PTx family of drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids, designed to make the long game more forgiving and more enjoyable for golfers of all abilities. The lineup includes the PTx Max and PTx LST drivers, PTx Max fairway woods, and PTx Max hybrids, all of which bring modern engineering and classic Hogan craftsmanship together.
Designed with Forgiveness in Mind
For many women golfers, consistency and forgiveness in the longer clubs are just as important as distance. The PTx Max driver focuses on exactly that. Built with a Moment of Inertia (MOI) over 10,000, it helps keep shots straighter even when the ball isn’t struck perfectly in the center of the face. A lightweight carbon crown and deep sole weighting make it easier to launch the ball high with less effort, while the aerodynamic “Speed Slot” promotes faster swing speeds without extra power.
For players with faster swings seeking more control, the PTx LST driver delivers a lower, more penetrating ball flight by positioning weight closer to the face to reduce spin. Both drivers are available in 9° and 10.5° lofts, in right- and left-handed options.
Fairway Woods for Confidence Off the Deck
The PTx Max fairway woods — available in 3, 5, and 7-wood lofts — are designed to make long shots less intimidating. With shallow faces and a carefully shaped head profile, they help golfers launch the ball higher and straighter. Internal weighting and a carbon fiber crown further improve forgiveness, while the side “Speed Slot” boosts clubhead speed for extra carry.
Hybrids that Replace Long Irons with Ease
Replacing hard-to-hit long irons, the PTx Max hybrids come in lofts of 18°, 22°, and 26° (3-, 4-, and 5-iron equivalents). The oversized head design and deeper center of gravity make it easier to lift the ball from the rough or tight lies. Added perimeter weighting and variable face thickness deliver forgiveness and distance, even on off-center strikes.

Recognising the growing number of women playing golf, Ben Hogan is offering the full PTx lineup with ladies and senior shaft options, as well as smaller grip sizes. All models also come with a selection of premium aftermarket graphite shafts to fit individual swing speeds and preferences.
