This summer, you won’t need to travel far to find a luxury golf break. We’re spoilt for choice in the UK, with some of the world’s best golf courses, exclusive hotels and incredible resorts right on our doorstep.

Bovey Castle Hotel

Picturesque harbour towns, sandy beaches and soaring cliffs, medieval towns and moorland national parks; there’s not much to love about Devon.

Celtic Manor

Celtic Manor boasts four golf courses, an exceptional spa and plenty of accommodation options ­– from elegant hotel rooms to unique lodges.

Take on the Twenty Ten course and recreate the winning putt from Ryder Cups gone by. Tee off on the Montgomerie or Roman Road course, or try the Caerleon Golf Club ­– all offering their own challenges.

The Belfry

The Belfry’s Brabazon course has become a Ryder Cup synonym, having hosted the prestigious event four times – more than any other course  in the world.

But it’s not just The Brabazon course that shines here. The PGA National is a world-class golf course and a real challenge for even the most seasoned golfers.

Our final two resorts are havens for golfers. Both of these should be at the top of your bucket list if you haven’t visited before.

Gleneagles is brimming with history, having hosted the Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup and Curtis Cup. It’s also set to host the 2022 Senior Open.
