Annabel and Emily Peaford returned to the winning side three years after their first title, seeing off Princes and Northamptonshire County in testing conditions at Felixstowe Ferry.
Walton Heath Golf Club have been crowned 2026 English Women’s Champion Club, winning the title at Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club by five shots.
The Surrey club’s team of Jenny Justice and sisters Annabel and Emily Peaford carded a combined +16 across two days, with their best two scores from each round counting towards the total. Princes Golf Club, fielding Teagan Ford, Alessandra Mitchell and Sandy Hallet, finished second.

Peaford sisters lead the way
Annabel and Emily, both members of the England Golf National Squads, were the key contributors across both rounds. Annabel shot 71 and 73, with an eagle on each day, while Emily added rounds of 81 and 83.
It’s a repeat win for the sisters, who were also part of the Walton Heath team that took the title in 2023.
“It means a lot. I have been a member at Walton Heath since I was seven and I am always proud to represent them,” Annabel said. “Emily and I were part of the team that won in 2023, so it was great to win it again. It was really good fun having Jenny in the team, as well as having the whole Justice family and Debbie to caddy and support us.”
On winning alongside her sister, Annabel said: “It is always great when we win together. She is a very determined teammate and we both know we are giving it our all, even when the conditions are horrendous.”
Chasing pack
Northamptonshire County Golf Club took third, four shots further back, with Katie Amos and sisters Harriet and Millicent Billson making up their scoring team.
