Germany’s Laura Fuenfstueck emerged as the standout name of the 2026 Rose Ladies Series, taking two of the five titles as the women’s professional circuit completed its annual early-season run.
The 2026 Rose Ladies Series wrapped up at North Hants Golf Club concluding five weeks of competition across some of England’s finest courses. German professional Laura Fuenfstueck, who plays out of The Machrie, claimed victories at West Lancashire and North Hants to finish the series as its most successful player.
The series opened at West Lancashire Golf Club on 27 April, where Fuenfstueck edged out a three-way tie at the top. She, Kelsey Macdonald and Rebecca Earl all finished on three-under-par 69, with Fuenfstueck claiming the £10,000 winner’s cheque by making a birdie on the first playoff hole.
Crump makes her mark
Two days later at Southport & Ainsdale, amateur Lauren Crump produced the result of the week, carding a two-under 70 to win outright and deny the professionals at the top of the leaderboard. Crump, who plays out of Hill Valley, finished ahead of Fuenfstueck and Jessica Hall, both on 71.

The series moved to Formby Ladies Golf Club on 1 May, where Rebecca Earl went one better than her West Lancashire playoff finish. The Princes Golf Club member shot a four-under 67 but was pushed all the way by Welsh player Becky Morgan of The Carrick, who matched her score. Earl took the £10,000 cheque on the second playoff hole.
At The Buckinghamshire on 6 May, Charlotte Laffar of Crondon Park broke clear of the field with a three-under 69, finishing a shot ahead of Fuenfstueck and Olivia Cowan, both on 70.
Fuenfstueck closes out at home of Justin Rose
The finale at North Hants — the home club of series founder Justin Rose — saw Fuenfstueck claim her second title of the series. She shot 68 to tie with England’s Lily May Humphreys of Stoke by Nayland Resort, before winning on the first playoff hole. Canice Screene of Croham Hurst finished third on 69.
The day carried extra significance for Women & Golf, whose editor Jane Carter was in attendance alongside competition winner Jenny Johnston, captain of Weston-super-Mare Golf Club, and her guest Marlyn Jackson. The pair had won their places at the final through a W&G reader competition and were on hand as Kate Rose presented the prizes.

All three also sat down with LET Access Series player Jessica Hall, who had featured strongly across several events in the series. Hall, who plays out of Bishop Auckland, will be one to watch as the season develops.
A series with a track record
The Rose Ladies Series was created in 2020 by Kate and Justin Rose, inspired by Liz Young’s suggestion of a roll-up event during lockdown at Brokenhurst Manor. What started as eight one-day tournaments with £5,000 prize funds has grown into an established fixture of the women’s professional calendar. The £10,000 winner’s cheque at each event remains the largest prize fund for one-day female competitions in Britain.
The 2026 series ran across West Lancashire, Southport & Ainsdale, Formby Ladies, The Buckinghamshire and North Hants — five venues that offered a strong spread of links and parkland challenge in the weeks before the LET season hits full stride.
