A Destination Worth the Journey
The 2026 venue, Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, is located near Eindhoven and less than an hour by train from Amsterdam. Kyle Phillips designed Bernardus with a heathland layout, and its luxury off-course amenities position it to showcase the best of European golf. Fans heading to the tournament will also be within reach of Amsterdam, one of Europe’s most vibrant and culturally rich capitals, making this Solheim Cup a compelling mix of sport and travel.
Europe last hosted the Solheim Cup in 2023, when the team retained the trophy in a thrilling 14-14 tie at Finca Cortesin in Spain while , Team USA claimed a 15½–12½ victory at the last match in Virginia. Now, attention turns to 2026, as the countdown begins to what promises to be a landmark edition of one of golf’s premier events.
