We’ve built a searchable directory of women’s and mixed open competitions right across the UK — and it’s free to use, any time.
Finding a women’s open to enter has always been more complicated than it should be. Word of mouth, club notice boards, county newsletters — useful, but patchy. If you’re not already plugged into the right networks, events come and go before you even hear about them.
The Women & Golf Opens Diary changes that.
We’ve created a single, searchable home for women’s and mixed open competitions across the UK — from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands, and pretty much everywhere in between. Whether you’re looking for something local next month or planning a trip around an event further afield, it’s all in one place.
How to use it
Head to womenandgolf.com/opens and you’ll find two ways in.
The first is the search tool at the top of the page. Filter by county, event type — individual, pairs, mixed, team — and date range. Hit search and you’ll see every open that matches. Each listing shows the club, the date, the format, the entry fee, and a direct link to enter or contact the club.
The second is the county browse below the search. Click your county — or any county — and you’ll see every open listed there. It’s a good way to explore if you’re flexible on location or planning a golf trip and want to combine a round with a competition.
We’ve got coverage across England, Scotland and Wales, with events being added regularly throughout the season.
Got an open to promote?
If you run or organise a women’s or mixed open and you’d like it listed in the diary, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a line at events@womenandgolf.com and we’ll get it added. It’s free, and it means your event reaches women golfers right across the UK.
