Now in their fifth year, the awards celebrate women across every sector of the game, and nominations are welcome from men and women alike.
Nominations are open for the 2026 Women in Golf Awards, and anyone in the game has until 12 October to put forward the women and organisations making a difference.
The awards were set up by Nicole Wheatley to connect and celebrate women working in golf, at every stage of their careers and in every kind of role, from turfcare to the boardroom.
Now in their fifth year, Wheatley says they remain focused on “shining a spotlight on the remarkable individuals and organisations helping to shape the future of our industry”. But she believes they have become about more than recognition.
“This event recognises excellence, dedication and leadership, but it is also inspiring the next generation of talent across the industry,” she said.
Nominations are not limited to women. “We encourage nominations from men and women across every corner of the industry,” Wheatley added, and colleagues, employers, friends and peers can all put someone forward.
Whether the nominee is an emerging talent, an inspirational leader, a supportive ally or an organisation, the aim is to celebrate those helping golf thrive.

- Woman Content Creator
- Women’s Initiative

- Woman in Leadership
- PGA Member / Assistant

Judging and the ceremony
Every nomination will be reviewed by an independent judging panel of industry experts, respected professionals and influential women leaders from across golf. Three finalists in each category will be invited to the ceremony at Belton Woods, Lincolnshire, on Friday 27 November, where the winners will be announced.
Nominations can be made at Women In Golf Awards and close on Monday 12 October.
