The finalists for the 2026 England Golf Awards, supported by FootJoy, have been revealed ahead of the March 3 ceremony in Manchester. The annual event highlights the achievements of players, clubs, and volunteers from golf communities across the country.
Recognising Excellence Across England
This year, thirteen awards will be presented in categories such as Club of the Year, Facility of the Year, and regional achievements. According to England Golf CEO Jeremy Tomlinson, the awards celebrate the dedication of people who help golf thrive on and off the course.
Some of the main categories and shortlisted finalists include:
- Club of the Year: Gaudet Luce Golf & Leisure, Heysham Golf Club, The Club at Mill Green
- Facility of the Year: Need Golf Centre, Tee Time Golf Centre, Virtually Golf
The judging panel, comprised of England Golf staff and industry professionals, selected finalists based on public nominations across 11 award areas. In addition to club and facility honours, the event will shine a spotlight on special awards such as Lifetime Achievement and Young Volunteer of the Year.
Honouring Individual and Team Performances
Outstanding playing achievements are also being recognised. Nominations for Performance of the Year include Eliot Baker (Tiverton Golf Club), Charlotte Naughton (Longhirst Hall Golf Club), the England Men’s Team, and Lottie Woad (Farnham Golf Club).
Tournament venues have also received attention, with Luffenham Heath, St Enodoc, and Gerrards Cross clubs noted for hosting key competitions during the year.
