Heading to Royal Lytham & St Annes this summer? Here’s everything you need to plan your day out at the AIG Women’s Open, from travel to tickets.
Getting There
Lytham St Annes sits five miles south of Blackpool and 18 miles west of Preston, with Manchester and Liverpool both around 50 miles away. The venue is well connected by public transport, and with large crowds expected across the week, organisers are encouraging spectators to travel by train, or to car-share where driving is unavoidable.
Gate Times
Gates open at 09:00 on Wednesday, 06:00 on Thursday and Friday, and 08:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Re-admission is allowed on all days, provided you collect a wristband on your way out and bring your ticket back with you.
On the Day
Download the AIG Women’s Open app for live scoring and leaderboards, and the AIG WO Tickets app, which is how tickets are delivered and managed digitally. The site is cashless, so make sure a card is packed alongside your sun cream and waterproofs — Lytham can throw up both in the same afternoon.
