Get your ball position right:
For mid-irons, the ball should sit just left of centre — use Georgia’s simple feet-together stepping method to find it every time.
Hit the ground after the ball:
Place a tee just ahead of the ball during practice swings to train yourself to strike down and through, rather than scooping and catching it thin.
Keep turning your chest through impact:
Stopping rotation at the ball causes the club head to overtake the hands — focus on turning your chest to the target to keep the handle leading and the strike clean.
