Think target, not hazard:
Before you swing, focus your mind on where you want the ball to go rather than what you want to avoid — a simple mental shift that reduces the urge to aim away from trouble.
Square up all three lines:
Your toe line, hip line, and shoulder line should all run parallel to your target line at address — if your shoulders are open (pointing left), you will tend to swing outside-to-in and produce a slice.
Trust the feeling of swinging right:
Once you square your alignment, it will feel like your shoulders are pointing right and your swing is heading that way too — but this inside-to-out path is exactly what straightens the ball out.
