Set your clubhead at the low point during setup
Place the clubhead a few inches behind the ball at address — this naturally creates the correct spine tilt and encourages you to strike up on the driver rather than hitting down.
Use the hips-first mantra to control your swing path
Imagine red dots on your chest and pelvis — at impact, aim for a four-to-six inch gap between them, achieved by moving your hips before your upper body, to keep your path neutral and avoid a slice.
Keep your trail hand in its starting position throughout the swing
Whichever grip position suits you — top, side, or bottom — the key is returning the trail hand to that exact position at impact to square the clubface consistently.
