Welcome to the beta version of the new Women & Golf website. Our web monkeys are still hard at work and welcome your feedback.
Sene Valley Golf Club is the perfect location - a fine example of a downland course, with a backdrop of the picturesque North Downs and panoramic views across the English Channel.
Challenge yourself against our beautiful course and undulating greens, then enjoy the superb hospitality from our friendly team in our Clubhouse Bar and Restaurant, with elevated vantage across Hythe's horseshoe coastline.
We welcome members and their guests, visitors and societies, and Sene Valley is the nearest golf course to the Channel Tunnel either side of the water so we are a regular pit-stop for visitors from across the UK and all over Europe.
If you draw this Kent coastal course in a match get a practice round first! Designed by Sir Henry Cotton, it’s great fun to play with slopes everywhere and some really memorable holes. Forward tees are well placed and there are only a few tough carries. Although there are lots of blind shots, nothing seems too unfair.
Many holes use step-down greens for the challenge - a strategic decision without being too penal if you get it wrong. The par 3s are great – mostly short but really challenging. If you fancy a trip to the coast this course will provide a great day out for all abilities.
