Welcome to the beta version of the new Women & Golf website. Our web monkeys are still hard at work and welcome your feedback.
Although I did not like this course it has some interesting holes particularly on the back 9 and a lovely view across the valley to Linlithgow Palace. Par 3 (166yds) 17th was my favourite hole. Little women's gear in Pro shop but good changing facilities although no on-course toilet. Food afterwards in the bar was excellent.
Interesting fact: In 1950 Gena MacKinnon of Drambuie fame, and not a golfer, bought Braehead Farm to protect the interests of the club. She performed the opening ceremony of the club every year & the driver she used has pride of place in the clubhouse.
