Gerrards Cross Golf Club is considered one of the most attractive courses in Buckinghamshire. With the River Misbourne meandering past the club house there are few finer places to play golf. The woodland course is set in the grounds of an ancient estate. Built in 1922, it measures 6,243 yards from the white tees. A testing par 69, the SR of 130 reflects the challenge it offers to golfers of all abilities.
This course was in excellent condition when I played it this year in a mixed invitation. There is a good variety of different holes presenting a good challenge. I enjoyed it very much. (Too many courses played this year so can't remember if it had a half-way hut!)
