Welcome to the beta version of the new Women & Golf website. Our web monkeys are still hard at work and welcome your feedback.
Farleigh is a 27 hole course in East Surrey. It is 15 minutes drive from junction 6 of the M25 and well worth a visit. The course is open and undulating with a good mix of straightforward and challenging holes.
The location makes it ideal for wildlife, with roe deer and red kites a common sight. Dogs welcome!. Each 9 holes ends at the clubhouse with access to the bar and toilets. There is a large driving range and chipping and putting practice greens. The pro shop run golf lessons and are open to discussing deals with golf and dining including hosting societies and charity days.
I visited in winter time when my own course was shut due to the wet weather. It was a welcoming club house and enjoyable golf. Having 3 courses of 9 holes facilitates a natural break at the club house for bathrooms and coffee! I enjoyed the challenge of hitting to the green over the water on the newly restructured blue third hole. The nature when you are playing makes for a glorious view and enjoyable relaxed round of golf.
