Welcome to the beta version of the new Women & Golf website. Our web monkeys are still hard at work and welcome your feedback.
Dale Hill Old Course opened in 1973 and was previously a dairy farm. The course is an 18 hole, par 69, 5,164 yards off the red tees (slope 113). A mixture of both a parkland and a woodland course. The scenery and sweeping views of the Sussex countryside are a sight to behold during your round. The Old Course has a nice variation of holes with the tree lined fairways and tight greens being a constant throughout.
The Old Course is part of Dale Hill Hotel and Golf Club. It has two high quality Championship golf courses on site for you to play during your stay - The Old Course and the Woosnam Course.
Dale Hill has a lovely hotel and two quite different golf courses. The Old course is the shorter, with three viable tees for women (the whites are shorter than the reds at one of my home courses.) Although it’s short it’s not easy. There were some holes that I found unfairly set up (1 and 15). But, mostly, it’s open and playable, with a smattering of adventure, hills and strategy on the back nine. I would like to visit again.
