Holes are routed across pleasantly undulating parkland with tree-lined fairways , a decent test for golfers of all handicap levels.
I played this course in a mixed open in 2022 and while I was impressed with the layout I came away thinking that it 'doesn't fit my eye.' While there were good tee positions for ladies, I found the approach shots to the greens often required a high shot that stops quickly - not easy when you are approaching with a wood in your hand! Nevertheless I would recommend a visit because the holes were interesting and the clubhouse modern. (There was a great half way hut but I can't remember if it had a toilet)
