The course offers a wonderful introduction to links golf for all golfers. Built on the dunes means the course is in excellent condition all year round.
What a joyous setting this is for golf. The general view is amazing – you can see all 18 holes from every hole, and you can see the sea and the rolling waves (and surfers) from every hole. Yes, you are overlooked by the hundreds of apartments that surround the course, but it’s still a visual treat. It’s very playable, few long carries off the tee, good lengths for the holes and penal rough just in patches rather than right along the fairways. I would thoroughly recommend a mini holiday in Newquay and a round or two here.
