Latest AIM 360 tech helps players improve putting and tee-shot accuracy
Titleist has expanded its range of Alignment Integrated Marking (AIM) products with the launch of new AVX and Tour Soft golf balls featuring a full 360-degree alignment design. Available now in the UK and Ireland, the new AIM 360 models are designed to help golfers line up shots more confidently and consistently.
A New Look for Better Focus
The 360-degree alignment marking wraps fully around the golf ball, giving players a more prominent visual guide on the green or the tee box. Unlike Titleist’s Enhanced Alignment sidestamps, which are more subtle, the new AIM 360 design offers a bolder, continuous line intended for those who prefer a more noticeable aid.
“It’s designed for players who prefer a larger alignment feature,” said Frederick Waddell, Titleist’s Director of Golf Ball Product Management. “It expands our AIM offerings to AVX and Tour Soft golfers and gives them a very different look than Enhanced Alignment.”
A Decade of Alignment Innovation
Titleist first began integrating alignment marks into its golf balls in 2007, responding to feedback from tour players who were marking their balls manually. Since then, alignment features have grown in popularity, leading to the development of dedicated AIM designs across multiple Titleist models, including Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash.
The new AIM 360 designs continue that evolution, offering a precision-oriented option for golfers seeking visual assistance when putting or lining up drives.
Performance with Purpose
The AVX and Tour Soft golf balls each bring their own performance profiles:
- AVX AIM 360 is ideal for players looking for low flight, low spin, and a soft feel with enhanced greenside control. The latest AVX generation offers longer distance and more spin around the green, with a refined core and cover construction. SRP: £42 per dozen
- Tour Soft AIM 360 suits players who value a soft feel but still want solid performance across all clubs. The newest model includes a faster core and a new cover formula, offering improved distance without sacrificing feel. SRP: £34 per dozen
Both models are available now through UK and Ireland golf retailers and at titleist.co.uk.
