New RX series offers upgraded design, smarter GPS features, and seamless manual control
PowaKaddy has launched a new generation of remote-controlled electric trolleys, introducing the RX range as part of its 2025 collection. With three models — the RX, RX10 GPS, and RX12 GPS — the lineup represents the most comprehensive remote offering yet from the UK-based brand, known for its innovations in powered golf trolley design.
Upgraded Control and Design Across the Board
At the heart of the RX series is a focus on user-friendly technology. Each model is built on a shared chassis and drive system, offering consistency in feel and performance. A slim, soft-touch remote handset gives golfers wireless control over speed and direction, while a new Slope Traverse Assist feature helps maintain straight-line travel on uneven ground.
Manual control remains a key part of the design. Golfers can quickly switch from remote to manual mode using a handle-based dial, with tailored speed settings for each mode. The trolleys also feature a swivel front wheel for improved turning and a rear anti-tip wheel positioned to enhance stability without obstructing walking stride.
Battery Efficiency and All-Terrain Performance
All models come with PowaKaddy’s XL-Plus lithium battery — optimized for longer usage common in remote mode — and dual motors to balance power with efficiency. PowaFrame® chassis construction and all-terrain wheels round out the trolleys’ durability and maneuverability.
Three Models, One Core Experience
The entry-level RX offers remote control without GPS functionality, catering to players seeking a simpler experience. Stepping up, the RX10 GPS integrates a 3.5” touchscreen display with access to over 40,000 preloaded courses, offering features like Full Hole View, Active Green View, and Drop Flag Technology.
At the top end, the RX12 GPS introduces a 5” HD touchscreen — the first of its kind in a remote-controlled trolley. It includes a faster processor, zoom functionality, smartphone notifications, and Wi-Fi updates, making it a feature-rich option for tech-savvy golfers.
Despite these differences, all three models share the same remote control system and core handling capabilities, allowing golfers to choose based on GPS needs and budget without sacrificing performance.
Raising the Bar for Remote Trolleys
“As demand continues to grow, we know that golfers expect more from a remote-control trolley — not just tech for tech’s sake, but truly user-friendly design,” said David Catford, CEO of PowaKaddy. “With the RX range, we’ve made remote control smooth and intuitive, while retaining easy manual usability. That dual-purpose functionality, paired with intelligent features, sets the RX series apart.”
The RX range is backed by a two-year warranty and is now available as part of PowaKaddy’s 2025 lineup.
