Industry leaders to gather for panel discussion and collaboration
Golf tourism showcase Elevate Golf will team up with The Links Network this October for a dedicated event highlighting the role of women across the golf industry. More than 120 women from different sectors are expected to attend the networking afternoon at Fairmont St Andrews on Wednesday, October 29.
The programme will feature a panel discussion led by Sky Sports presenter and Elevate ambassador Di Stewart, exploring topics such as leadership, representation, equity, and access within the game. The session will also recognise the contributions of women driving change across the sport.
Space for conversation and connection
Leanne Thorpe, Director of Elevate Golf, said:
“Our ambition with Elevate has always been to connect the industry in a more meaningful way, and that includes creating space for important conversations like this. Women are playing an increasingly influential role in shaping the future of the game. This event is about recognising that, supporting one another, and continuing the momentum.”
Rachel Broere, Co-Founder of The Links Network, added:
“It’s encouraging to see an event like Elevate prioritise initiatives like this. By creating a platform for discussion, we hope to inspire collaboration, celebrate success, and address some of the persistent challenges that still exist for women in the golf industry today.”
Part of Elevate Golf’s wider programme
The women’s networking event forms part of Elevate Golf’s second edition, which takes place in St Andrews over six days. The wider programme brings together leading golf courses and tour operators, with curated networking sessions, business meetings, and play at several of the UK’s most celebrated venues.
